Location: Aigburth, Liverpool (Dovedale House)

Shift pattern: 5x4hr shifts per week, plus 1hr staff meeting

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 20 hours per week
Pay: Discussed at interview

Salary: £13,988


Transforming Choice provides residential alcohol detox and rehabilitation in a dedicated facility in Aigburth, Liverpool. We also have a residential home (Dovedale House) in which this role will be located. We support individuals seeking to overcome addictions, offering a safe environment to embark on a journey towards a substance-free life.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team in Dovedale who is enthusiastic and a passion for doing the right thing. This role is essential in providing personalised support in a safe and supportive environment to our residents to enhance their quality of life.


Key responsibilities:

· Deliver person-centred care ensuring the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents.

· Assisting with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility and meal preparation.

· Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with residents.

· Monitor and report any changes in the resident’s condition.

· Complete basic administrative tasks relevant to the role (full training will be provided).


What we are looking for:

· Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for supporting individuals and making a positive impact.

· A self-starter who is resilient and able to communicate effectively.

· Compassionate individual with the ability to provide support to our residents.

· Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in recovery is preferred.

· A health and safety qualification is preferred but not essential.
